ArtsWatch next week comes from Putney, Tooting, Balham…the West End!

Wandsworth is home to Britain’s only gallery dedicated to the political Cartoon. The gallery, in Putney, is currently cartoonshowcasing 50 years of Daily Telegraph cartoons and also houses some originals of some of the world’s most famous cartoons, dating back as far as World War One. What has kept this unique art form going for decades and what makes a good political cartoon today? Greg Tinker went to the gallery to find out and met the owner, political Cartoon expert Dr Tim Benson. Listen in on his visit on Monday.
