That was a week, that was…

Tara theate outsideThis was a special week, wasn’t it  – I went to visit the new TARA Arts Theatre and it’s a bijou beauty with some hints of Bollywood. Taking influences from the history of the building, 20160622_101156its origins and surrounding area as well as thoughtfully sourced artefacts from India, I’ve not quite seen a theatre like this. I tell you more about it on Wednesday but I wanted to just tease you with a few images from my visit.

Arrows & Traps’ gender swapping production of Macbeth has been attracting some great reviews.  Ian went along to Macbeth Arrows & Trapsrehearsals to meet the creative team to get under the skin of the production’s vision and find out what the “average witch at a bus stop” contributes to the dynamics. That’s Monday night’s show.
