Mark Jarvis

Originally my background is in Acting. I trained at the BAFTA Award Winning Television Workshop and have represented both National Youth Theatre and National Youth Film Academy. Alongside that I’ve been lucky enough to land professional parts in programmes for ITV, CBBC (Jamie Johnson) and e4 (Don’t Tell The Bride) where I played the Fake Best Man in a prank scene. Currently training at ALRA, so I live in the Wandsworth area.

For a while people kept saying I had a voice for Radio and eventually I got involved. Since then I’ve not looked back. I’ve been presenting since 2016 and alongside Community Radio during that time I’ve hosted Race For Life for Cancer Research, been the Tannoy Announcer for a local football team and hosted individual live events. I was also lucky enough to win two awards for presenting in 2017. This led me to landing an internship with a commercial radio station to gain more experience.

Awards so far include Community Radio Awards for Best Newcomer and Bronze Male Presenter 2017.

LOVE WANDSWORTH: The community aspect and everything is so close to each other.
