Think live music is dead? Then think again!

Thanks to an overwhelming response via a crowdfunding campaign, The Sound Lounge will be opening in Tooting on 27 January 2017.  The opening gig will be free entry.

Damien Thill went down to the venue while finishing touches are still being made to the Sound Lounge and chatted with Hannah White one of the founders to see what this hot new spot in the heart of Tooting will be all about. You can hear about it on Monday’s show.

Lotte Moore is our lovely local author who write for children from her own experience.  “Lotte’s War” is just one volume, and she tells us all about it on Tuesday.

Sian Rowland is playwright starting to hit the big time.  Her latest piece is “Gazing at a Distant Star” and running at Greenwich Theatre.  She gives Ian an insight into the play on Wednesday.

Out There on Fried Meat Ridge Road” is a hillbilly comedy with a heart of gold on at the newly renovated White Bear Theatre, in KenningtonWriter and actor Keith Stevenson finds the time to gives some tidbits on Thursday…a nugget of Americana the night before Donald Trump’s inauguration.
