First peek at all things Wandsworth Fringe this week…and MORE!

We start featuring our Wandsworth Arts Festival guests this week. The Wandsworth Fringe runs from 6-22nd May all over the borough and we will be broadcasting live from the Launch Event.  It’s a VIP event so if you want a glimpse behind the scenes – you’ll have to listen into to our live broadcast on Friday 6th May 4-6pm.

SAFE GROUND are in to chat to Ian Barclay on his Monday afternoon show 1-4pm. Papercut Theatre, the group behind I’M NOT JESUS CHRIST will be guesting on SPOTLIGHT with Sian & Michelle on Tuesday night 7-8pm.  And finally, CITIZEN SQUID joins Shane Bright on Thursday afternoon 1-4pm.

But normal creative life carries on, ARTSWATCH continues its normal eclectic programming for its regular slot 6.45-7pm Monday to Thursday after the news. Here’s the plan:


On Monday night’s show, WailI review Little Bulb’s return to Battersea Arts Centre with their new show WAIL.  It’s a cabaret about whales. It’s different, it’s funny…it’s Little Bulb.




Lexie Carducci is our Miss England candidate and presents a lively show on Thursday mornings. Lucky Lexie got to interview Antony Costa from BLUE about his appearance next week at the New Save the last dance for me 12-16 AprilWimbledon Theatre in SAVE THE LAST DANCE FOR ME and she’s let us play it to your for ArtsWatch on Tuesday night. How did he make the transition from boy band to musical theatre?




Safe Ground turns 21 this year and as part of their 21st Birthday celebration, they are taking part in the Wandsworth Arts Fringe. safeground They will be hosting a weekend of poetry workshops, performances and a criminal justice themed treasure trail.

Ian Barclay will winkle all the detail out of them on Wednesday’s show.
