BATTERSEA COMMUNITY FESTIVAL

The Battersea Community Festival is an event which developed out of the former Falcon Road Festival which took place in 2017, 2018 and 2019 and the Battersea Jubilee Festival, a collection of events last year celebrating Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

The Battersea Community Festival 2023 will take place on Saturday 9th September in Shillington Park.

The festival is a great opportunity for locals to come together and enjoy a wide range of activities and entertainment. From live music and dance performances to food stalls, sporting activities and family-friendly games, there is something for everyone!

One of the highlights of the Battersea Community Festival is the main stage run by Riverside Radio. Talented performers from the local community will showcase their skills.

Another important aspect of the festival is the food and drink. A range of food stalls are set up throughout the event, offering everything from traditional street food to more exotic and adventurous cuisine. Visitors can indulge in a variety of tasty treats while enjoying the festivities.

For families with young children, the festival offers plenty of child-friendly activities and games, such as face painting, a bouncy castle, and crafts.

The Battersea Community Festival is a testament to the strength and vibrancy of the Battersea community. It brings together people from all walks of life, and it provides a platform for artists and organisations to showcase their talents and contributions. The festival is a great way to celebrate the diversity and creativity of the Battersea community, and it's a must-attend event for anyone looking for a fun and engaging day out.

Whether you're a music lover, foodie, or just looking for a fun day out with the family, this festival is the perfect way to celebrate the community and everything it has to offer. So mark your calendars for Saturday 9th September and join us for a day of festivities, entertainment, and community spirit!
