Saturday Breakfast with Mark
Mark Jarvis, Robyn Richford

Saturday Breakfast’s Mark Jarvis won the Best Male Presenter at the Community Radio Awards 2018.

Originally Mark’s background is in Acting. He trained at the BAFTA Award Winning Television Workshop and has represented both National Youth Theatre and National Youth Film Academy. Alongside that he’s been lucky enough to land professional parts in programmes for ITV, CBBC (Jamie Johnson) and e4 (Don’t Tell The Bride) where he played the Fake Best Man in a prank scene. Currently training at ALRA, Mark lives in the Wandsworth area.

For a while people kept saying he had a voice for Radio and eventually he got involved. Since then he’s not looked back. He has been presenting since 2016 and alongside Community Radio during that time he has hosted Race For Life for Cancer Research, been the Tannoy Announcer for a local football team and hosted individual live events. He won two awards for presenting in 2017, landing an internship with a commercial radio station to gain more experience.

Awards so far include Community Radio Awards Gold Best Presenter 2018, Best Newcomer and Bronze Male Presenter 2017.
