The Riverside Radio team has been working hard to bring you festive offerings for our Christmas and New Year schedule 2025 and into 2026. You'll be able to tune into our Pantomime, Dick Whittington, find out who made the top ten in our Track of the Year chart and also catch up on all the news, sports and arts reviews of the year from across south west London and re-live Christmas light switch on events with as much normal programming as possible in-between. All of us here at Riverside Radio wish all our listeners in Richmond, Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Riverside Radio presents its 2025 Pantomime - oh yes it does… DICK WHITTINGTON written by Spotlight’s Sian Kenyon & directed by Riverside Breakfast presenter Jason Rosam, who also plays Dick Whittington. Starring Riverside Breakfast’s Ali Ineson as Dick’s sidekick cat Luna and Ali Palmer as Fairy Bowbells, Riverside Drive’s Joey Cooke as the evil King Rat, Faridat Raifu as Alice Fitzwarren, alongside Ian Barclay as Sue the Cook & Martin Adams as the Governor, Sports Reporter & Friday Breakfast host Ben Heys as Simple Simon. Completing the starstudded line up are Newsreaders Tom Hopkins as Alderman Fitzwarren & Suzi Garforth as the Captain. Recorded in front of a live studio audience at Arches Lane Theatre in Battersea Power Station and recorded/ produced by Chet Sahota and Charlotte Pearman

Riverside Reads is our monthly book club that celebrates the joy of reading and shines a light on talented local authors from across South West London and sometimes further afield. Each month, Riverside Breakfast presenter and the charity Book Clubs in Schools founder Ali Palmer carefully selects a book written by a local author. You’ll have the chance to listen back to exclusive interviews with all the authors in this Riverside Reads Special, including Lilly Samson, Elizabeth Buchan, Joanna Dodd, Jeffrey Archer, Will Shindler, Anna Mazzola, Sarah Clarke, Georgina Moore & Andrew Cartmel.
