Riverside Radio is launching its comprehensive local election coverage, as voters prepare to decide who will run town halls across Richmond, Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth on May 7th.
Over the coming weeks, the station will bring listeners in-depth reporting, live debates, and election night coverage, putting local issues and community voices at the heart of the conversation.

As part of the coverage, Riverside Radio will host a series of live election debates in each borough, giving residents the opportunity to hear directly from local political leaders and challenge them on the issues that matter most.
The debates will take place on the following dates:
Listeners are invited to take part as part of the live studio audience by submitting questions to local party leaders. If you’d like to be involved, email election@riversideradio.com and a member of the team will be in touch.
On election night, Riverside Radio will broadcast a special live results programme from 10pm on May 7th, as polls close across the UK.
Reporters will be stationed at count centres in all four boroughs, bringing listeners up-to-the-minute results, reactions, and analysis as the results come in.
Riverside Radio’s election coverage aims to inform, engage and represent the communities it serves — ensuring that local people have a platform to ask questions, hear from decision-makers, and stay fully informed about the future of their area.
