Riverside Radio is hosting Plugged In, a free, family-friendly live music event at Battersea Power Station on Saturday 9th August 2025.
Taking place in Power Station Park between 1pm - 7pm, the open-air event will feature six talented local acts from Wandsworth offering audiences a genre-spanning day of music with emerging solo artists and full bands performing live with the iconic Power Station as a backdrop.
All the artists performing have featured on Riverside Radio’s Track of the Week, a platform for spotlighting the best local talent. Each week, the radio station champion a new musician, band, or singer-songwriter from South West London, giving them valuable airplay and exposure.
In celebration of Wandsworth being the London Borough of Culture 2025, Plugged In at Battersea Power Station highlights the borough’s vibrant creative community and will be broadcast live on Riverside Radio for those that are unable to attend the event. It will also feature on-air interviews with each performer.

Alex Comaish: Alex combines pop sensibilities with folk-punk energy, armed with his acoustic guitar and loop pedal he delivers off beat, quirky lyrics and catchy sing-a-long hooks.
Alice SK: Inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchel and The Strokes, Alice blends indie folk and rock to create a unique soulful sound, combining a love of music, nature and connecting to those around her to produce captivating stories through lyrics and melodies.
Broken Hertz: Alternative, modern rock band Broken Hertz combine hard hitting riffs and catchy choruses with raw lyricism and atmospheric interludes. A band with tunes built for the biggest stages, the next few years feel very bright for the band.
Chas Leman: After launching 2024 with debut single 'I Found Love', Chas Leman has steadily built a catalogue of heartfelt, emotionally charged singles which are included in his debut album 'Wish The Clock Would Go Back'. No two gigs are ever the same, but what you can expect from Chas is an honest man dedicated to his artistry and a commitment to entertain.
Moniah: Rising pop-R&B singer-songwriter, Moniah is known for her powerful voice and commanding stage presence. Over the past few years, she has developed a unique sound, blending elements of pop, indie and RnB.
Sheffy: Funk, soul, and rock seamlessly collide in this genre-defying singer known for his irresistible grooves. A dedicated songwriter inspired by Oasis with guitar skills echoing the bluesy spirit of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Sheffy has just released his debut EP, ‘Fix it in the Mix’.
