A feast of festive radio shows are hitting the airwaves on Riverside Radio this Christmas with our 2022 Pantomime Alice in Wonderland right at the heart of our schedule.

Come and jump down our rabbit hole and get lost in a the wonderland with Alice and her friends. This years show is the third Pantomime we’ve performed which has been written by Martin Smith from Mr and Mrs Smith’s Sunday Snooze Request show and Connections on a Thursday night. News producer Ida May Griffiths takes on the role of Alice with Sian from Spotlight as the Queen of Hearts. It’s a superb hour of fun and frolics in Wonderland and performed by our volunteer presenters and journalists in front of a live studio audience.

Kevin Wood presents a weekly show called Vinyl Revival and for Christmas he’s produced a very special episode which looks into the history of one of south west London’s most important musical hot spots Eel Pie island on the River Thames in Twickenham. Its a very special radio show with lots of memories.

The ArtsWatch team work hard all year round to bring nuggets of arts related news from across Richmond, Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth. You’ll be able to hear the best of our reports from across 2022 in this one hour special for Christmas. The Riverside Reports team take us through a tumultuous year in local politics and national stories affecting us here in south west London and our Sports team have also reviewed the year with their Christmas special.

Churches in Battersea get together and put on the Carols in Battersea Square event every year. 2022’s event was the first year Riverside Radio took part and we’ve got it all packaged up and ready to play out over Christmas. You’ll be singing along with all the carols in no time at all.
